About the Event
In Mexico -, September is known as the month of the homeland, mes de la patria. more precisely, September 16 is celebrated as Independence Day. Mexicans became indepenent of their colonial power Spain at the beginning of the 19th century. The commemoration takes places inside and outside the national territory and unifies, as rarely, all Mexicans. It is the opportunity to eat the typical dishes of the abundant national cuisine.
